Narrative:
During an aircraft audit performed by our inspections/records department, it was discovered that when this aircraft was converted to a contract zone inspection (aug/xa/96) the zone 7 was not completed. Log page wxxx states zone 7 inspection due at 7919.0. However, inspections/records department computer run indicated zone 7 due at 10463.7. This discrepancy resulted in the overflying of zone 7 inspection by 1589.7 hours.
