Narrative:
Flying nnw from darby dan airport (6i6) at columbus, oh, to flint bishop airport (home base). Was cruising at 1900 ft up to the west edge of the dtw class B outer limits. The ground was snow covered and I was changing radio frequency to call arb tower. Called, but forgot to switch radios to #2. Was fast approaching arb airport, switched to #2 and called. By this time I was just entering ring. They answered. I reported my situation, got squawk, left airspace, received 1200 squawk and change of frequency from tower. They said I surprised them. I apologized and thanked them. Continued to fnt airport and landed.
