Narrative:
During meal service (#3 business class), #5 flight attendant was made aware of an ill passenger. He, in turn, notified me, and we immediately approached the passenger seated in X. The passenger was unconscious but breathing, with his eyes rolled back into his head, and had vomited. He also had lost control of his bladder. #5 flight attendant notified the #1 flight attendant and captain, while I was assisted by another passenger in getting him onto the floor. As we got the ill passenger to the floor, he regained consciousness, and we paged for a doctor. 1 doctor and 2 rn's responded, and were provided with all available medical equipment. #5 flight attendant assisted the doctor and nurses, while I communicated with the captain. The doctor quickly assessed the passenger's condition and determined we should land. This was relayed to the captain, and a diversion to cun was made with a delay of only 15 mins. To prepare for landing, all flight attendants completed all service items, and secured the aircraft. Upon arrival in cun, the ill passenger, along with family members etc were taken to the hospital. Spending 1 hour in cun, the plane was svced and such. We departed for dfw with necessary emergency equipment with used equipment replaced in dfw. I believe the entire crew was professional and placed the well being of our passenger above anything. The doctor and nurses were kind, and truly thanked them for their assistance.

Title: CABIN ATTENDANT RPT, B757, SJO-DFW. SERIOUSLY ILL PAX. PAX MD AND RN'S ATTENDED PAX. DECIDED TO DIVERT TO CANCUN. PAX AND FAMILY TAKEN TO HOSPITAL.

I BELIEVE THE ENTIRE CREW WAS PROFESSIONAL AND PLACED THE WELL BEING OF OUR PAX ABOVE ANYTHING. THE DOCTOR AND NURSES WERE KIND, AND TRULY THANKED THEM FOR THEIR ASSISTANCE.
