Narrative:

Missed crossing restr, estimate 800 ft high. No known conflict. On VNAV, cockpit distraction of flight attendant discussing maintenance items from cabin. For unknown reason VNAV did not make programmed crossing and crew did not realize error until too late to correct.

Narrative: MISSED XING RESTR, ESTIMATE 800 FT HIGH. NO KNOWN CONFLICT. ON VNAV, COCKPIT DISTR OF FLT ATTENDANT DISCUSSING MAINT ITEMS FROM CABIN. FOR UNKNOWN REASON VNAV DID NOT MAKE PROGRAMMED XING AND CREW DID NOT REALIZE ERROR UNTIL TOO LATE TO CORRECT.
