Narrative:
On jan/sun/00, during a 200 hour check, aircraft xyz was found to have a power lever that went past the idle stop when it was in idle. During the course of the repairs to the power lever, the elevator trim wheel was removed. On feb/mon/00, I was reinstalling items that had been removed during the course of the repair and having an inspector look at the areas in question. I remember installing the trim wheel and checking the deflections. In accordance with the beech maintenance manual sections 27-30-05 and 27-30-08, all parameters were within specifications to the best of my knowledge. That was the last time that I worked in that area or on that aircraft until feb/sun/00. I was told that on feb/sat/00, the aforementioned aircraft did an air return for an elevator trim malfunction. The corrective action was to reposition the trim control wheel, verify tab deflection and operationally test the trim control system.
