Narrative:

I work a late night shift. On my 3 service checks I tested the right outboard landing light. It was inoperative. I replaced the bulb and tested it per maintenance manual procedure. To the best of my knowledge, it was installed correctly and operated normally. However, when the aircraft arrived at pdx, the light bulb and snap ring were missing. Maintenance at pdx replaced the missing bulb and installed a new snap ring. The light operations checked ok. No delay was incurred, I believe. The aircraft returned to service.
