Narrative:
Upon landing at airport, I ballooned the plane but did not compensate for ground effect and wing gust, which placed my second landing toward left side of runway. Airplane continued onto grassy surface, where plane came into contact with 2 runway lights. I was able to return airplane back to runway, and proceeded to ramp area. Higher than required airspeed for landing and recent inactivity in flying were major contributing factors in this incident.
