Narrative:

On a pleasure flight from craig municipal, to st augustine, upon reaching the airport advisory area, communication was difficult. Xtalk was terrible! (And has been in the past). This problem occurs in a variety of aircraft throughout the traffic pattern as well. In looking at a sectional, the pilot noticed several airports all have the same unicom/CTAF frequencys. Would it be possible to change the frequencys so that these very busy uncontrolled fields can have communication easy to hear, and make it easier to participate in the advisory frequency? Right now, human error of not stating which airport the pilot is operating at makes it difficult for other pilots to understand where other aircraft are located. Also, because some of these airports have the same runway numbers, further confusion results.

Title: C172 PLT EXPERIENCED FREQ CONGESTION ON THE CTAF AND UNICOM FREQS AT SGJ.

Narrative: ON A PLEASURE FLT FROM CRAIG MUNICIPAL, TO ST AUGUSTINE, UPON REACHING THE ARPT ADVISORY AREA, COM WAS DIFFICULT. XTALK WAS TERRIBLE! (AND HAS BEEN IN THE PAST). THIS PROB OCCURS IN A VARIETY OF ACFT THROUGHOUT THE TFC PATTERN AS WELL. IN LOOKING AT A SECTIONAL, THE PLT NOTICED SEVERAL ARPTS ALL HAVE THE SAME UNICOM/CTAF FREQS. WOULD IT BE POSSIBLE TO CHANGE THE FREQS SO THAT THESE VERY BUSY UNCTLED FIELDS CAN HAVE COM EASY TO HEAR, AND MAKE IT EASIER TO PARTICIPATE IN THE ADVISORY FREQ? RIGHT NOW, HUMAN ERROR OF NOT STATING WHICH ARPT THE PLT IS OPERATING AT MAKES IT DIFFICULT FOR OTHER PLTS TO UNDERSTAND WHERE OTHER ACFT ARE LOCATED. ALSO, BECAUSE SOME OF THESE ARPTS HAVE THE SAME RWY NUMBERS, FURTHER CONFUSION RESULTS.
