Narrative:
Holding short of runway 17R at denver international airport, while well short of the runway itself, I missed seeing the hold short line, and rolled several ft past it. I stopped the airplane when I realized that I could not see a hold short line between us and the runway, and asked the first officer to tell tower that we thought we were over the line. Tower asked us to say again and I told them we thought we were over the line. Tower sent an aircraft on a 1 mi final around. The hold short line is yellow on white concrete, and though wig-wags are installed, the line itself is hard to see. Suggest outlining in black.
