Narrative:
Departure clearance was heading 260 degrees, climb and maintain 2000 ft. Took off out of naples, fl. We were in the transition from naples tower to ft myers departure control. I flew through 2000 ft assigned altitude. First officer called altitude at 2200 ft, rounded out at 2400 ft, and descended back to 2000 ft. Factors: 1) very early wake-up call. 2) first leg of flight had to return to airport for thrust reverser unlock light. 3) distraction with 1 hour behind schedule because of factor #2. 4) very busy after takeoff phase workload. 5) not mentally programmed for the 2000 ft leveloff.

Title: CAPT OF A DASSAULT FALCON 20 OVERSHOT AN INTERMEDIATE ALT DURING DEP DUE TO HEAVY WORKLOAD AND DISTR OF BEING BEHIND SCHEDULE.
Narrative: DEP CLRNC WAS HDG 260 DEGS, CLB AND MAINTAIN 2000 FT. TOOK OFF OUT OF NAPLES, FL. WE WERE IN THE TRANSITION FROM NAPLES TWR TO FT MYERS DEP CTL. I FLEW THROUGH 2000 FT ASSIGNED ALT.
