Narrative:
We were on a part 91 repos leg from drt to ads. Approximately 10 DME from jen (glen rose VOR) we were given direct jen and the glen rose 5 arrival to ads. After crossing jen, we intercepted the 079 degree radial when the STAR called for the 039 degree radial. ATC advised us of our error and assigned a heading of 360 degrees to intercept the 039 degree radial for the arrival. As the PF, I should have verified the outbound radial on the STAR to prevent such an error from occurring.
