Narrative:
ATIS advertised use of runway 35, instructed to taxi to runway 35. Instructed to taxi into position and hold runway 31. At intersection of both runways, wrong turn was made onto runway 35. Immediate 180 degrees was made off runway and clear of runway without incident. Tower issued alert of center WX advisory moments before occurrence, distracting crew due to severity of WX issued. A discussion ensued between crew members concerning WX. Explained to tower, appeared to be no problem.

Narrative: ATIS ADVERTISED USE OF RWY 35, INSTRUCTED TO TAXI TO RWY 35. INSTRUCTED TO TAXI INTO POS AND HOLD RWY 31. AT INTXN OF BOTH RWYS, WRONG TURN WAS MADE ONTO RWY 35. IMMEDIATE 180 DEGS WAS MADE OFF RWY AND CLR OF RWY WITHOUT INCIDENT. TWR ISSUED ALERT OF CTR WX ADVISORY MOMENTS BEFORE OCCURRENCE, DISTRACTING CREW DUE TO SEVERITY OF WX ISSUED.
