Narrative:

On apr/fri/00 at approximately XA30, I called the FSS for a WX briefing. They reported current conditions to be clear, but it would soon turn to IFR conditions. I had planned a short VFR flight in the local area and thought I would have time to complete it. I took off from rus airport at about XA45. Upon reaching altitude, tul departure informed me that the WX was becoming IFR at rus. I turned around and tried to make it back to the airport, but before I could, I found myself caught in IFR conditions. I then had to receive radar vectors to tul airport. I see that this incident was caused by a total lack of judgement on my part.
