Narrative:
En route to 1g3 from tso, I mistakenly flew into canton akron airspace (class C). 14 mins after takeoff from tso on the 190 degree radial and 17 NM from the akron VOR (aco) my flight instructor simulated a navigation radio failure. After looking at my sectional chart, I noticed that we had drifted over 1 mi off course and had brushed the edge of the class C airspace. At this time I made an immediate turn to 080 degrees to exit the edge of the airspace. My aircraft was not in the class C airspace for more than 2 mins before corrective action was taken.
