Narrative:
Sudden loss of cabin pressure while cruising at 17000 ft. We immediately began a descent to 10000 ft, notified center a few moments later. Problem later determined to be a faulty door seal.

Title: AN E120 CAPT SUDDENLY LOST ACFT PRESSURIZATION AT 17000 FT, IN THE VICINITY OF ALBANY, GA. HE BEGAN A RAPID DSCNT TO 10000 FT AND THEN CALLED ZTL.
Narrative: SUDDEN LOSS OF CABIN PRESSURE WHILE CRUISING AT 17000 FT. WE IMMEDIATELY BEGAN A DSCNT TO 10000 FT, NOTIFIED CTR A FEW MOMENTS LATER. PROB LATER DETERMINED TO BE A FAULTY DOOR SEAL.
