Narrative:
En route from flagstaff to goodyear, phoenix approach vectored me into class B airspace. Upon resuming own navigation to goodyear I approached glendale thinking it was goodyear while maintaining communication with goodyear tower. Goodyear tower informed me of my mistake at the same time I realized I had made an incorrect airport identify. I resumed course to goodyear without notifying glendale of my previous and intended actions. Altitude at the time was 3000 ft MSL. In the future, I will make better use of terminal area charts and maintain safe altitudes and effective radio communications.
