Narrative:
In looking in looking at aircraft release, MEL's, etc, I noted the MEL procedure for a different avionics fan. I then noted the procedure for a different bleed air leak defect. This procedure had us leave our bleed off. The avionics vent fan procedure stated the bleed system must be operating normally. It was later determined that the aircraft should not be flown in this condition. Even though the bleed system was working normally, we had to select it off.
