Narrative:
Tailwind and aircraft weight resulted in being late to slow to 250 KTS at crossing restr (knole intersection) after descent. Better planning would have precluded this. ATC was advised and acknowledged. Flew 10 KTS fast on final approach and landing due to tailwind. Did not want to pull power near idle to slow because of fear of losing wind at very low altitude with engines unspooled.
