False navigation lock caused us to bear 180 degrees rather than 120 degrees as filed. ZMP noted the error and we reset the NAVAID.

Title: CAPT OF A DC9-33 WAS ON THE WRONG HDG DUE TO FOLLOWING A FALSE NAV AUTOPLT LOCK DURING DEP CLBOUT.
Narrative: FALSE NAV LOCK CAUSED US TO BEAR 180 DEGS RATHER THAN 120 DEGS AS FILED. ZMP NOTED THE ERROR AND WE RESET THE NAVAID.
