Narrative:
During descent on training flight. I allowed first officer to load crossing restr in FMS after clearance was given. 2 reasons this took place. 1) I didn't check that she entered data correctly, and 2) we didn't call out the restr after we entered it to compare our understanding of the clearance. I then followed the FMS and leveled aircraft at wrong altitude. We reviewed our policy and have made sure we follow it. I do not follow the FMS without checking all entries.
