Also if a mechanic does an annual on an aircraft and does everything correct except forgets to enter it into airframe logbook, 6 months later the FAA inspector catches it by accident and cites the mechanic, can the mechanic file on the NASA 277D form? Even though it's been 6 months or more, this is the first time it's been brought to light.

Narrative: ALSO IF A MECH DOES AN ANNUAL ON AN ACFT AND DOES EVERYTHING CORRECT EXCEPT FORGETS TO ENTER IT INTO AIRFRAME LOGBOOK, 6 MONTHS LATER THE FAA INSPECTOR CATCHES IT BY ACCIDENT AND CITES THE MECH, CAN THE MECH FILE ON THE NASA 277D FORM? EVEN THOUGH IT'S BEEN 6 MONTHS OR MORE, THIS IS THE FIRST TIME IT'S BEEN BROUGHT TO LIGHT.
