Narrative:
After repeated spacing vectors, airspeed assignments and altitude changes, we were given a vector to intercept runway 25L localizer. Our company procedures specify an LNAV intercept at that distance from field. As PNF, I proceeded to build an intercept off a fix on the approach. As we were close to the localizer already, we flew through it before I could get the intercept leg in the box. I was heads down with the CDU work and both of us missed the intercept on raw data.
