Narrative:
I was the first officer on a scheduled flight to mci. As we cleared the runway (runway 19L at mci) I switched to ground control and started running after landing checklists. As the ground controller cleared us across runway 9/27, I noticed the nose of the aircraft was already across the hold short line. The controller said nothing and we continued to parking. Runway 9/27 was not in use so there was no conflict. Next time I will keep a heads up upon approaching another runway.
