Narrative:
First officer was flying south on J121 and missed the slight left turn at 110 DME south of chs (should have picked up the sav 185 degree radial at that point). He continued beyond the turn point by 17 mi. ATC called us and told us to go direct omn and he had to vector another aircraft. I was distraction doing something else and didn't notice the missed turn until ATC called us.

Title: MD80 CREW HAD TRACK DEV IN ZTL CLASS A AIRSPACE.
Narrative: FO WAS FLYING S ON J121 AND MISSED THE SLIGHT L TURN AT 110 DME S OF CHS (SHOULD HAVE PICKED UP THE SAV 185 DEG RADIAL AT THAT POINT). HE CONTINUED BEYOND THE TURN POINT BY 17 MI. ATC CALLED US AND TOLD US TO GO DIRECT OMN AND HE HAD TO VECTOR ANOTHER ACFT. I WAS DISTR DOING SOMETHING ELSE AND DIDN'T NOTICE THE MISSED TURN UNTIL ATC CALLED US.
