Narrative:
We were given an unusual clearance due to parachute jumping in the vicinity of bonham VOR. We were at 12000 ft instead of the usual 11000 ft. We neglected to slow to 250 KTS at karla. After we passed karla, the controller slowed us to 210 KTS. We had been operating at 320 KTS. The controller did not say anything and to the best of my knowledge no loss of separation occurred.
