Narrative:
Crossed runway 35R approach hold line without being sure of clearance misinterpreted sign to be an IFR hold sign and I was doing the checklist. Stopped just past the line. I think tower cleared us for takeoff but I am not sure of that clearance and we had crossed the line before we clarified.

Narrative: CROSSED RWY 35R APCH HOLD LINE WITHOUT BEING SURE OF CLRNC MISINTERPRETED SIGN TO BE AN IFR HOLD SIGN AND I WAS DOING THE CHKLIST. STOPPED JUST PAST THE LINE. I THINK TWR CLRED US FOR TKOF BUT I AM NOT SURE OF THAT CLRNC AND WE HAD CROSSED THE LINE BEFORE WE CLARIFIED.
