Narrative:
The captain had just turned on the fasten seatbelt sign. I was checking the first class cabin and trying to get the 2 children from business class to return to their seats. These children were with the passenger involved in this incident. The 4 children were bickering about who would return to business class. I told them that I would be back in a few seconds to check that they had all taken their seats. I went to the first class vestibule. I noticed this passenger, the grandfather of these children, standing facing the 1L door. I assumed he was waiting for a restroom, since both were occupied. Then I noticed him fumbling with his pants. Before I could even realize fully what was happening, I saw him put my personal drinking cup, that had my vitamin drink in it, upon the parked duty-free cart. I then realized he had urinated in it. Indeed, when I approached him, the cup was full of urine and there was urine dribbled on a flight attendant's bag on the floor. Since the man supposedly didn't speak english, I took the cup to his daughter, the mother of all the children, and asked her why her father had urinated in my drinking cup. I was rather upset. She stated that maybe he couldn't wait. I asked her why he hadn't alerted someone that he 'couldn't or wouldn't wait, so that he could be escorted to another lavatory in another cabin.' mrs X became very hostile and then I noticed that the children still hadn't taken their seats. I then decided that the captain needed to be informed. Captain yy felt that order needed to be restored to the first class cabin and that since this woman wasn't listening to me (the purser) he would speak to her. She argued with him for some time, saying that getting the children in their seats was not her responsibility nor was monitoring her father's bathroom duties. She was very hostile the rest of the flight. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter stated that she had brought her own plastic glass from home and this is what the grandfather urinated in. The children wouldn't get off the floor when the seatbelt sign was turned on, so the reporter became the 'bad guy' when she got firm with the kids. Then came the urinating incident and the woman became furious because the purser had chastised her. The captain was furious with the woman, because she not only argued with him, but also treated him like a servant. The captain wanted to land and remove the family, but after much discussion between the captain, copilot and the reporter, they decided to proceed to boston. The woman and her family became very huffy, and refused to speak or be served by the purser. When the woman wanted a customs form, the purser had to get another flight attendant to deliver it, because the woman wouldn't have any dealings with the purser.

Title: CABIN RPT, B767-300, CDG-BOS. FAMILY OF 9 + 2 NANNIES. GRANDFATHER (FIRST CLASS) URINATED IN PURSER'S PERSONAL PLASTIC CUP (BROUGHT FROM HOME). KIDS UNRULY.
Narrative: THE CAPT HAD JUST TURNED ON THE FASTEN SEATBELT SIGN. I WAS CHKING THE FIRST CLASS CABIN AND TRYING TO GET THE 2 CHILDREN FROM BUSINESS CLASS TO RETURN TO THEIR SEATS. THESE CHILDREN WERE WITH THE PAX INVOLVED IN THIS INCIDENT. THE 4 CHILDREN WERE BICKERING ABOUT WHO WOULD RETURN TO BUSINESS CLASS. I TOLD THEM THAT I WOULD BE BACK IN A FEW SECONDS TO CHK THAT THEY HAD ALL TAKEN THEIR SEATS. I WENT TO THE FIRST CLASS VESTIBULE. I NOTICED THIS PAX, THE GRANDFATHER OF THESE CHILDREN, STANDING FACING THE 1L DOOR. INDEED, WHEN I APCHED HIM, THE CUP WAS FULL OF URINE AND THERE WAS URINE DRIBBLED ON A FLT ATTENDANT'S BAG ON THE FLOOR. I THEN DECIDED THAT THE CAPT NEEDED TO BE INFORMED. CAPT YY FELT THAT ORDER NEEDED TO BE RESTORED TO THE FIRST CLASS CABIN AND THAT SINCE THIS WOMAN WASN'T LISTENING TO ME (THE PURSER) HE WOULD SPEAK TO HER. SHE ARGUED WITH HIM FOR SOME TIME, SAYING THAT GETTING THE CHILDREN IN THEIR SEATS WAS NOT HER RESPONSIBILITY NOR WAS MONITORING HER FATHER'S BATHROOM DUTIES. SHE WAS VERY HOSTILE THE REST OF THE FLT. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: THE RPTR STATED THAT SHE HAD BROUGHT HER OWN PLASTIC GLASS FROM HOME AND THIS IS WHAT THE GRANDFATHER URINATED IN. THE CHILDREN WOULDN'T GET OFF THE FLOOR WHEN THE SEATBELT SIGN WAS TURNED ON, SO THE RPTR BECAME THE 'BAD GUY' WHEN SHE GOT FIRM WITH THE KIDS. THEN CAME THE URINATING INCIDENT AND THE WOMAN BECAME FURIOUS BECAUSE THE PURSER HAD CHASTISED HER. THE CAPT WAS FURIOUS WITH THE WOMAN, BECAUSE SHE NOT ONLY ARGUED WITH HIM, BUT ALSO TREATED HIM LIKE A SERVANT. THE CAPT WANTED TO LAND AND REMOVE THE FAMILY, BUT AFTER MUCH DISCUSSION BTWN THE CAPT, COPLT AND THE RPTR, THEY DECIDED TO PROCEED TO BOSTON. THE WOMAN AND HER FAMILY BECAME VERY HUFFY, AND REFUSED TO SPEAK OR BE SERVED BY THE PURSER. WHEN THE WOMAN WANTED A CUSTOMS FORM, THE PURSER HAD TO GET ANOTHER FLT ATTENDANT TO DELIVER IT, BECAUSE THE WOMAN WOULDN'T HAVE ANY DEALINGS WITH THE PURSER.
