Narrative:
On ground at sna, an FAA maintenance inspector found 2 loose screws, 1 missing screw on aircraft -- these were repaired. He also found a broken rivet head on an inboard panel #2 engine pylon. He told both my first officer and the maintenance representative 'don't write it up here, you can't get it fixed at sna.' we took the aircraft to oak, where it was inspected and released.

Title: B737. FAA MAINT INSPECTOR FOUND A BROKEN RIVET HEAD ON #2 PYLON ON WALKAROUND INSPECTION AT SNA.
Narrative: ON GND AT SNA, AN FAA MAINT INSPECTOR FOUND 2 LOOSE SCREWS, 1 MISSING SCREW ON ACFT -- THESE WERE REPAIRED. HE ALSO FOUND A BROKEN RIVET HEAD ON AN INBOARD PANEL #2 ENG PYLON. HE TOLD BOTH MY FO AND THE MAINT REPRESENTATIVE 'DON'T WRITE IT UP HERE, YOU CAN'T GET IT FIXED AT SNA.' WE TOOK THE ACFT TO OAK, WHERE IT WAS INSPECTED AND RELEASED.
