Improper blast procedure on first and second stage high pressure turbine disks. In question is 'final handling' under section 30-06 page 8 dated apr/xa/98 in the gpm which states, 'a visual review of the part prior to installation to ensure no physical damage has occurred.'

Narrative: IMPROPER BLAST PROC ON FIRST AND SECOND STAGE HIGH PRESSURE TURBINE DISKS. IN QUESTION IS 'FINAL HANDLING' UNDER SECTION 30-06 PAGE 8 DATED APR/XA/98 IN THE GPM WHICH STATES, 'A VISUAL REVIEW OF THE PART PRIOR TO INSTALLATION TO ENSURE NO PHYSICAL DAMAGE HAS OCCURRED.'
