Narrative:
Descending through 10000 ft MSL, airspeed increased past 250 KTS to 260 KTS. Next time I realized it, we were at 5000 ft MSL. I immediately retarded power and reduced airspeed to less than 250 KTS. Nothing was said by any controller.

Narrative: DSNDING THROUGH 10000 FT MSL, AIRSPD INCREASED PAST 250 KTS TO 260 KTS. NEXT TIME I REALIZED IT, WE WERE AT 5000 FT MSL. I IMMEDIATELY RETARDED PWR AND REDUCED AIRSPD TO LESS THAN 250 KTS. NOTHING WAS SAID BY ANY CTLR.
