Narrative:

I was working the combined ground controls at the start of the departure push. The baron called for taxi, and because of the operating procedures and wake turbulence implications, had to cross runway 36R en route to runway 36L. After coordinating with local-east to cross runway 36R, I did so. When I saw that the baron had cleared off runway 36R, I advised local-east, clear. In the meantime, local-east had cleared the F100 for takeoff and the F100 aborted takeoff roll when they saw the baron crossing the runway. I feel if the other ground and/or the cabin coordinator position had been staffed, that I or someone else may have averted this event.

Narrative: I WAS WORKING THE COMBINED GND CTLS AT THE START OF THE DEP PUSH. THE BARON CALLED FOR TAXI, AND BECAUSE OF THE OPERATING PROCS AND WAKE TURB IMPLICATIONS, HAD TO CROSS RWY 36R ENRTE TO RWY 36L. AFTER COORDINATING WITH LCL-E TO CROSS RWY 36R, I DID SO. WHEN I SAW THAT THE BARON HAD CLRED OFF RWY 36R, I ADVISED LCL-E, CLR. IN THE MEANTIME, LCL-E HAD CLRED THE F100 FOR TKOF AND THE F100 ABORTED TKOF ROLL WHEN THEY SAW THE BARON XING THE RWY. I FEEL IF THE OTHER GND AND/OR THE CABIN COORDINATOR POS HAD BEEN STAFFED, THAT I OR SOMEONE ELSE MAY HAVE AVERTED THIS EVENT.
