Narrative:

First flight of the day. Reviewed the aircraft logbook for write-ups, inspections, etc. Noticed 2 write-ups, one on the autoplt, and one on a gear horn. Autoplt squawk was cleared, but gear horn was not cleared. The following page showed a service check and a return to service sign-off. Since the aircraft was signed off with a return to service, the captain and I assumed it was good to go. We don't know if maintenance did the corrective action and forgot the sign-off or missed it all together. There should have been a sign-off or a MEL sticker placed in the logbook.
