Narrative:

Took off from mkc, headed eastbound to 3SQ. Still in contact with mke tower for TA's. Mke tower notified me that I had entered class B airspace. I was at approximately 4500 ft MSL while in the 80/40 ring. I had a current kansas city sectional and thought I was clear of class B airspace. Upon notification, I immediately descended to 3800 ft MSL.

Narrative: TOOK OFF FROM MKC, HEADED EBOUND TO 3SQ. STILL IN CONTACT WITH MKE TWR FOR TA'S. MKE TWR NOTIFIED ME THAT I HAD ENTERED CLASS B AIRSPACE. I WAS AT APPROX 4500 FT MSL WHILE IN THE 80/40 RING. I HAD A CURRENT KANSAS CITY SECTIONAL AND THOUGHT I WAS CLR OF CLASS B AIRSPACE. UPON NOTIFICATION, I IMMEDIATELY DSNDED TO 3800 FT MSL.
