Narrative:
Before departure from las, set radios and GPS as needed. During departure was told by las departure to turn to a heading of 255 degrees to intercept the 126 degree radial off of bty. The GPS radial was programmed for oasys intersection to bty. During the departure I followed the obs as it centered on what I thought as the 126 degree radial. It came to my attention that I made a mistake when ZLA called during a handoff to turn back to 250 degree heading. I was told to call las departure. I called and spoke with the controller and we worked the mistake and correction through. The mistake was due to wrong switch setting on the navigation/gpr select switch.
