Narrative:
I was working the galley in coach. I did not know of anything until we were getting off aircraft and saw the passenger. I was told he was drunk before boarding, plus I could see he also had a catheter and an empty bottle of rum left in his seat. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter stated that the reason he wrote the report was that he and the whole crew were told to, by the captain and the purser, because the captain wanted the agent in san juan to be disciplined for knowingly boarding an intoxicated man. The man was boarded in an aisle chair and was holding his catheter, so the boarding flight attendant taking tickets never dealt with him, therefore, the crew was unaware how drunk he was until later. The man caused a lot of havoc for the whole flight. They didn't call for police to meet the flight, just their airline's ground supervisor.
