Narrative:
Departed airport ifx at or about XA02 VFR to tcl at 3000 ft MSL in piper PA31-350. Standard radio call to tcl tower 15 mi north, cleared for left base entry runway 11, cleared to land. Normal landing, taxied to FBO ramp. Ramp check, FAA, pilot had no identify except driver's license. Medical had expired 6 months previous. FAA advised pilot no multi-engine certificate on file. Pilot has single engine land certificate on file. Pilot has logged approximately 73000 hours in past 4 yrs. PIC/single engine land. No citation, violations, etc. Pilot's original seland and meland certificates issues in 1955-1959 atlanta airpark, atl, GA.

Title: PLT OF A PIPER PA31 NAVAJO FAILED TO HAVE HIS PLT AND MEDICAL CERTIFICATES IN HIS POSSESSION WHEN CHKED BY FAA INSPECTOR. CHK OF FAA PLT RECORDS FOUND THAT THE PLT'S MEDICAL CERTIFICATE HAD EXPIRED AND THAT THERE WAS NO MULTI-ENG RATING ON HIS PVT PLT CERTIFICATE.
Narrative: DEPARTED ARPT IFX AT OR ABOUT XA02 VFR TO TCL AT 3000 FT MSL IN PIPER PA31-350. STANDARD RADIO CALL TO TCL TWR 15 MI N, CLRED FOR L BASE ENTRY RWY 11, CLRED TO LAND. NORMAL LNDG, TAXIED TO FBO RAMP. RAMP CHK, FAA, PLT HAD NO IDENT EXCEPT DRIVER'S LICENSE. MEDICAL HAD EXPIRED 6 MONTHS PREVIOUS. FAA ADVISED PLT NO MULTI-ENG CERTIFICATE ON FILE.
