Narrative:
While accomplishing normal maintenance inspection during a through flight, I observed the right nose gear bungee spring missing. Upon ordering spring from stock, it was noted that the replacement spring was no longer available and the springs had to be replaced in pairs. After completing the installation of both new springs, there appeared to be no reason for any additional inspection due for the required inspection item requirements with the completion of the job. After aircraft was dispatched, it was determined that this task may be a required inspection item requirement.
