Narrative:
There was miscom between the flight crew and ATC to which transition of the channel 1 departure we were cleared. Subsequently, we turned in the wrong direction from what the controller had cleared us.

Title: A GULFSTREAM III FO RPTED THAT HE TURNED THE WRONG DIRECTION ON THE CHANNEL 1 SID OUT OF LGB.
Narrative: THERE WAS MISCOM BTWN THE FLC AND ATC TO WHICH TRANSITION OF THE CHANNEL 1 DEP WE WERE CLRED. SUBSEQUENTLY, WE TURNED IN THE WRONG DIRECTION FROM WHAT THE CTLR HAD CLRED US.
