Narrative:
I was flying VFR from stephenville, tx, to arlington, tx. I had current commercial charts, and was using a low altitude en route chart for navigation and radio frequencys. I found arlington, and used the CTAF on the chart which was 123.00. It seemed strange however, because the 2 other aircraft I could see on and approaching the airfield were not using the frequency. I checked my radios, which were in working condition, and double-checked the frequency on the chart, but everything was correct and operational. I figured that the other pilots were local pilots and were not using or did not have operational radios. I then maintained visual separation from the other aircraft, (which had since departed) and I landed. I made all of the necessary radio calls in the process and landed without any problems. Once inside the FBO office, I asked what the CTAF frequency was that everyone was using. I was told that the frequency had been changed from 123.00 to 123.07, 1 or 2 months before. I showed this person my current commercial chart with the wrong frequency on it, and he was just as surprised as I was. I will notify commercial chart maker of this error, and I hope that the situation does not endanger any other pilots before it is resolved.

Title: C172 PLT DID NOT USE THE CURRENT CTAF FREQ FOR ARR AT GKY.
Narrative: I WAS FLYING VFR FROM STEPHENVILLE, TX, TO ARLINGTON, TX. I HAD CURRENT COMMERCIAL CHARTS, AND WAS USING A LOW ALT ENRTE CHART FOR NAV AND RADIO FREQS. I FOUND ARLINGTON, AND USED THE CTAF ON THE CHART WHICH WAS 123.00. IT SEEMED STRANGE HOWEVER, BECAUSE THE 2 OTHER ACFT I COULD SEE ON AND APCHING THE AIRFIELD WERE NOT USING THE FREQ. I CHKED MY RADIOS, WHICH WERE IN WORKING CONDITION, AND DOUBLE-CHKED THE FREQ ON THE CHART, BUT EVERYTHING WAS CORRECT AND OPERATIONAL. I FIGURED THAT THE OTHER PLTS WERE LCL PLTS AND WERE NOT USING OR DID NOT HAVE OPERATIONAL RADIOS. I THEN MAINTAINED VISUAL SEPARATION FROM THE OTHER ACFT, (WHICH HAD SINCE DEPARTED) AND I LANDED. I MADE ALL OF THE NECESSARY RADIO CALLS IN THE PROCESS AND LANDED WITHOUT ANY PROBS. ONCE INSIDE THE FBO OFFICE, I ASKED WHAT THE CTAF FREQ WAS THAT EVERYONE WAS USING.
