Narrative:
Research of aircraft component status report revealed the slide guide pin 4639305053 (a service life component of the main gear box) was overdue. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter stated the aircraft was a eurocopter with lycoming engines 101-650, and the component service life out-of-date was the slide guide on the main rotor transmission. The reporter said this overdue time limit was discovered during a maintenance check and was missed by the maintenance computer monitor. The reporter said the company self disclosed this incident to the FAA.

Title: A EUROCOPTER BK117 A-4 WAS DISCOVERED TO HAVE THE SVC LIFE ON THE SLIDE GUIDE OF THE MAIN ROTOR XMISSION OVERDUE AND OUT-OF-DATE.
Narrative: RESEARCH OF ACFT COMPONENT STATUS RPT REVEALED THE SLIDE GUIDE PIN 4639305053 (A SVC LIFE COMPONENT OF THE MAIN GEAR BOX) WAS OVERDUE. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: THE RPTR STATED THE ACFT WAS A EUROCOPTER WITH LYCOMING ENGS 101-650, AND THE COMPONENT SVC LIFE OUT-OF-DATE WAS THE SLIDE GUIDE ON THE MAIN ROTOR XMISSION.
