Narrative:
I was cleared for the approach by center and asked to maintain 150 KTS until lima. I misunderstood them to say loony, which was GS intercept. Around 4 mi out, tower asked me to break off the approach. When I asked why, they said the plane in back of me was catching up. I told them I would speed it up and increased my speed. I continued my approach and called tower several times to ask permission to land and continue without an answer. There was convective activity showing on my stormscope both left and right and I was concerned to be going up into the storm. The tower asked me at 1000 ft to contact approach, and I asked why without an answer, and asked tower could I land. At this point, I was 2 mi from the threshold. The tower then cleared me to land. Upon landing, the controller asked me to call center. When I talked to center they informed me that the plane in back of me had to go around. I told them the confusion and then figured out that there was a different spot I was to continue my speed of 150 KTS. I also told them of my concern about convective activity. They told me they would contact tower and discuss this with them and call me if there were additional questions. I should have read the chart more carefully.

Title: PLT OF A BEECH BE58 FAILED TO FOLLOW THE ILS APCH PROC TO CLRED CAUSING THE TWR TO SEND ANOTHER ACFT AROUND SINCE IT WAS CLOSING ON RPTR.
Narrative: I WAS CLRED FOR THE APCH BY CTR AND ASKED TO MAINTAIN 150 KTS UNTIL LIMA. I MISUNDERSTOOD THEM TO SAY LOONY, WHICH WAS GS INTERCEPT. AROUND 4 MI OUT, TWR ASKED ME TO BREAK OFF THE APCH. WHEN I ASKED WHY, THEY SAID THE PLANE IN BACK OF ME WAS CATCHING UP. I TOLD THEM I WOULD SPD IT UP AND INCREASED MY SPD. I CONTINUED MY APCH AND CALLED TWR SEVERAL TIMES TO ASK PERMISSION TO LAND AND CONTINUE WITHOUT AN ANSWER. THERE WAS CONVECTIVE ACTIVITY SHOWING ON MY STORMSCOPE BOTH L AND R AND I WAS CONCERNED TO BE GOING UP INTO THE STORM. THE TWR ASKED ME AT 1000 FT TO CONTACT APCH, AND I ASKED WHY WITHOUT AN ANSWER, AND ASKED TWR COULD I LAND. AT THIS POINT, I WAS 2 MI FROM THE THRESHOLD. THE TWR THEN CLRED ME TO LAND. UPON LNDG, THE CTLR ASKED ME TO CALL CTR. WHEN I TALKED TO CTR THEY INFORMED ME THAT THE PLANE IN BACK OF ME HAD TO GO AROUND. I TOLD THEM THE CONFUSION AND THEN FIGURED OUT THAT THERE WAS A DIFFERENT SPOT I WAS TO CONTINUE MY SPD OF 150 KTS. I ALSO TOLD THEM OF MY CONCERN ABOUT CONVECTIVE ACTIVITY. THEY TOLD ME THEY WOULD CONTACT TWR AND DISCUSS THIS WITH THEM AND CALL ME IF THERE WERE ADDITIONAL QUESTIONS. I SHOULD HAVE READ THE CHART MORE CAREFULLY.
