Narrative:
We were given a clearance void time of XA45 local and told to call center no later than XA50 if we were not off the ground by that time. We began taxi at approximately XA41 and takeoff roll at XA45. When we checked in with center he said the time was XA54 and that we should have called for a new void time. Our time differed from his about 5 mins. I do not believe there was ever an issue of safety, but we should have paid more attention when he gave the void time and stated the local time.
