Narrative:
I entered restr airspace by accident. I was advised by ATC that I was entering restr airspace. I turned 90 degrees to the right thinking that I was exiting the airspace. ATC advised me that I was going the wrong way and instructed me to fly heading 180 degrees to exit restr airspace. I flew 180 degrees and exited the airspace. A lack of situational awareness was the major factor in this incident. In the future, I will pay closer attention to the chart.
