5TH leg of day, morning show time, first officer flying. Approximately XA00Z, cleared by madison departure to level climb at 7000 ft. First officer slow to level off. I called out the deviation and first officer commented 'correcting' but did not correct sufficiently. Madison departure reminded us to level at 7000 ft. Altitude reached 280 ft high and we radioed 'correcting.' flight ended without incident. It was the last leg of the day and last day of the 4-DAY trip. We were ready to be done.
