Narrative:
I was informed today at XA30 am by my supervisor that the tire I had changed on aircraft xyz had to be changed again in XXX due to failure of the wheel bearing. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter stated the cause of the wheel bearing failure was the wheel spacer was not installed.

Title: A B767 WAS DISPATCHED IN NON COMPLIANCE WITH A MAIN GEAR TIRE AND WHEEL ASSEMBLY INSTALLED WITHOUT THE REQUIRED SPACER.
Narrative: I WAS INFORMED TODAY AT XA30 AM BY MY SUPVR THAT THE TIRE I HAD CHANGED ON ACFT XYZ HAD TO BE CHANGED AGAIN IN XXX DUE TO FAILURE OF THE WHEEL BEARING. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: THE RPTR STATED THE CAUSE OF THE WHEEL BEARING FAILURE WAS THE WHEEL SPACER WAS NOT INSTALLED.
