Narrative:
On oct/sun/00, I went out on a gate call for a VOR problem. The first officer's course needle did not work. I proceeded to placard the needle, and accidentally left out the phrase 'placard VOR needle inoperative,' and basically said 'placard #2 VOR inoperative.' that's what was said.

Title: A FOKKER 100 WAS DISPATCHED IN NON COMPLIANCE WITH THE FO'S VOR RMI NEEDLE DEFERRED INOP PER THE MEL, BUT THE WRONG PLACARD WAS INSTALLED.
Narrative: ON OCT/SUN/00, I WENT OUT ON A GATE CALL FOR A VOR PROB. THE FO'S COURSE NEEDLE DID NOT WORK. I PROCEEDED TO PLACARD THE NEEDLE, AND ACCIDENTALLY LEFT OUT THE PHRASE 'PLACARD VOR NEEDLE INOP,' AND BASICALLY SAID 'PLACARD #2 VOR INOP.' THAT'S WHAT WAS SAID.
