Narrative:
I was at lbg airport for a special event. This was my first time flying into southern ca. I was parked in the dirt near taxiway G. I asked for progressives to runway 25L. I was told to take taxiway G to taxiway D. At one point I was told to hold short about 1000 ft in front of me. I do not remember if the controller gave me an intersection to hold up at. I taxied for what I thought was 1000 ft. I accidentally crossed runway 25L. The controller had me stop, then directed me to where I could do a run-up. He did not ask me to call the tower. Looking back on this, I found the airport to be confusing with all the runway and txwys. I think I was on overload being in a new area. Fatigue also played a part. Although I was not aware of it at the time, I had a busy time. Went to a lot of seminars and social events in a short time. If I had it to do over again I would have stayed one more day to rest up. I did not realize how tired I was till I got back to salinas.
