Narrative:
As a crew, we missed our crossing restr by several thousand ft and approximately 10-15 mi too late. We coupled the FMS for the VNAV descent and continued with other duties (descent checklist, etc). I looked up and saw the vertical descent mode flashing while the PIC took over manually. Our vertical mode got us behind and we missed our restr. I checked the TCASII and no aircraft were present within 15 mi. However, we trusted our equipment and became too complacent. ATC never said anything and gave us a new clearance as we continued inbound for a landing at las, nv. This was also a late trip in which we were a little tired and complacent while expecting our equipment to perform perfectly.

Title: ALT RESTR NOT MET.
Narrative: AS A CREW, WE MISSED OUR XING RESTR BY SEVERAL THOUSAND FT AND APPROX 10-15 MI TOO LATE. WE COUPLED THE FMS FOR THE VNAV DSCNT AND CONTINUED WITH OTHER DUTIES (DSCNT CHKLIST, ETC). I LOOKED UP AND SAW THE VERT DSCNT MODE FLASHING WHILE THE PIC TOOK OVER MANUALLY. OUR VERT MODE GOT US BEHIND AND WE MISSED OUR RESTR. I CHKED THE TCASII AND NO ACFT WERE PRESENT WITHIN 15 MI. HOWEVER, WE TRUSTED OUR EQUIP AND BECAME TOO COMPLACENT. ATC NEVER SAID ANYTHING AND GAVE US A NEW CLRNC AS WE CONTINUED INBOUND FOR A LNDG AT LAS, NV. THIS WAS ALSO A LATE TRIP IN WHICH WE WERE A LITTLE TIRED AND COMPLACENT WHILE EXPECTING OUR EQUIP TO PERFORM PERFECTLY.
