Narrative:
When clearance was received, briefed the departure SID for that runway. When we taxied out, runway assignment was changed. Reviewed departure for that runway, altitude select was not changed -- it was still set to the other runway departure altitude. As a result, we climbed up, the PF saw the altitude and climbed through the altitude for that runway. Runway assignment should be altered to crew before taxi has stated which runway to use then change.
