Narrative:
Upon departure from north myrtle beach, cre, about XA00 on oct/xa/00, I taxied southwest on the taxiway for departure on runway 5, as directed by ground control. As I neared the end of the northwest leg of the taxiway, I looked for the hold short line, but did not see one. I then began the turn onto the base of the taxiway and stopped for I did not see a hold short line ahead of me. Looking back toward the tail of the plane, away from the sun, I could now see the hold short line just by the tail. Apparently because of the angle/ht of the sun, taxiing that direction, we were unable to see the line, because the sun is in our eyes. Shortly thereafter, ground control advised that I was over the line. I acknowledged and indicated I had thought it was still ahead. The ground controller then stated that the line had been between my plane and the runway, but that it had been moved back some.

Title: RWY INCURSION AT CRE, SC.
Narrative: UPON DEP FROM NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, CRE, ABOUT XA00 ON OCT/XA/00, I TAXIED SW ON THE TXWY FOR DEP ON RWY 5, AS DIRECTED BY GND CTL. AS I NEARED THE END OF THE NW LEG OF THE TXWY, I LOOKED FOR THE HOLD SHORT LINE, BUT DID NOT SEE ONE. I THEN BEGAN THE TURN ONTO THE BASE OF THE TXWY AND STOPPED FOR I DID NOT SEE A HOLD SHORT LINE AHEAD OF ME. SHORTLY THEREAFTER, GND CTL ADVISED THAT I WAS OVER THE LINE. I ACKNOWLEDGED AND INDICATED I HAD THOUGHT IT WAS STILL AHEAD. THE GND CTLR THEN STATED THAT THE LINE HAD BEEN BTWN MY PLANE AND THE RWY, BUT THAT IT HAD BEEN MOVED BACK SOME.
